We made our first stop at Windebensee located around 1900 meters altitude
on the Nockalm Road. This was a part of the journey to offer our dearest students and teachers the chance to see, touch and smell the vast array of flora along the shore of this picturesque lake. When we all went down the bus and started our way to the park, we noticed who among us forgot their jackets. It was very windy and icy at the Lake Windebensee. The water shimmered in blue under the sun making it more beautiful and exuded calmness of spirit.
However, the big rocks were so tempting and in no time, even the gentlest of spirits among the students were climbing up and down the rocks. There was no stopping them and it was indeed so refreshing to see them. But they heeded to my call when I forced them to pay attention. Inwardly, I found them so sweet when they would politely listened to me while keeping an eye on the next rock they would be climbing next.
Mrs Kansal, Depaali, Vikramaditya and Sanyam were really tough because they did not take their jackets with them. But actually it was Vikramaditya who was the toughest of them all. He just wore a T-shirt the whole time in the mountain. I was afraid that he might catch a cold the next day. HE DID NOT. It made me happy to see him the next day wearing that very nice smile of his.
